My husband and I celebrated our One Year Anniversary this Sunday, November 1, 2015. It was spectacular! I finally got that MK Hamilton I had been hinting about all year and that made me super happy, but what made me even happier was that we made it through our first year without any scratches. I’m not just talking about physical scratches, but emotional and psychological bruises as well. We made it out the gate with more love for each other than when we were first feeling the joys of new love. I know we are still in the honeymoon stage of our marriage, but I am grateful to God for keeping us. The one advice I would give to any “more” newly married person than myself is simply to enjoy life, keep God first and put your spouse needs over yours. If you’re putting his needs over yours and he’s putting your needs over his, you are sure to win!
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all thing. Love never fails.
